3 Days Magical Kenya Safari : This tour of the Masai Mara National Reserve offers a budget-friendly version of a traditional camping safari. The safari leaves early in the morning from Nairobi and includes a drive to the base of the Great Rift Valley, with a stop at a viewpoint to take in the breathtaking view of the valley’s features and escarpment.
Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
Drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve, located at the base of the Great Rift Valley, early in the morning after leaving Nairobi. Enjoy lunch in the largest Maasai town, Narok. We then continue on to the Masai Mara National Reserve, where we will arrive in time for your afternoon game drive. You will spend the night and dinner at Mara Olodare Camp. The journey takes roughly six hours in total. Lunch and dinner are included in the meal plan.
Day 2 : Explore Masai Mara National Reserve
In Kenya’s most well-known game sanctuary, Masai Mara National Reserve, spend a day there for the best chance of seeing the Big Five: lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, and elephant. Taking a picnic lunchbox and spending the entire day in the park is a common practice for game drives. At an additional expense, you will also have the choice to visit a nearby Maasai village. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all included in the meal plan. You will be spending the night at Mara Olodare Camp.
Day 3 : Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi
You can choose to visit the Masai village after breakfast and return to Nairobi by car, arriving at around 17:00. Drop off at the accommodation address. 6 hours is the estimated transit time.
