Get to know these kinds of giants and observe their interactions before they head back to the lodge for pictures. Without a doubt, spending an hour with gorillas is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Keep an eye out for additional wildlife and forest birds, such as the giant kingfisher, cinnamon-chested bee-eater, African harrier hawk, and African green pigeon.

Visit the Batwa community later on to get a taste of their culture. The Batwa, who are hunter-gatherers, were evicted from Bwindi Forest by park officials. You’ll hear old tales and gain knowledge about their customs and culture. Go back to the lodge.
