3 Days Murchison Falls & Rhino Tracking Safari : In order to track the endangered rhinos, this safari includes a visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and a stop at Murchison Falls National Park. After tracking, continue on to Murchison Falls National Park and make your way directly to the top of the falls for a view. The next day will begin with an early game drive in the park before heading out for a boat trip on the Nile.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kampala>Murchison Falls National Park.
After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from the hotel, give you an overview of the safari, and then you’ll set off, passing through Luwero while the guide tells you the tale of the liberation battles there and how they contributed to the establishment of the present Ugandan government. You are scheduled to make a stop at the rhino sanctuary in Ziwa. After reaching the sanctuary, you will venture into the bush to look for white rhinos. It could take roughly three hours to track. You will track for a while, have lunch, and then proceed to the park. You will travel to the top of the falls after you arrive for a quick visit and to take pictures. You will make your way to the lodge to check in and spend the night after this experience.
Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise.
Get up early, eat breakfast, and then go on an early game drive in the savannah to see animals like elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, hyenas, kobs, lelwel’s hartebeests, warthogs, and many more. You may also see birds like giant kingfisher, black-headed lapwing, blue-headed coucal, swamp flycatcher, Abyssinian ground hornbill, red-throated bee-eater, black-billed barbet, Denham’s bustard, and other species. The northern sector is the preferred destination for the game drive.
After the game drive, you will have lunch at the lodge before continuing on to the boat docking area for an exciting boat cruise down the Nile. Enjoy a unique perspective of the Nile on the launch cruise, where you can spot large Nile crocodiles, hippos, and various other animals and bird species along the banks. You will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay after the boat cruise.
Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park>Kampala.
After finishing your safari, wake up to a leisurely breakfast. After leaving your lodge, travel via Karuma Falls and Karuma Forest Reserve back to Kampala or Entebbe, arriving in time for lunch. Drop off at your hotel or at the airport for your flight, if you choose, after lunch.
